From the moment I heard Trish Stevens’ voice on the phone, I knew I was in good hands. Any author can hire a publicist, but finding a publicist who manages to raise an already elevated level of enthusiasm is precious. More importantly, Ascot Media delivers. After the first press release for The New Jew was sent, I received more than a dozen requests for advance copies from media outlets I never would have reached on my own. I was thrilled. I wrote to Trish that I was happy with the response and she immediately wrote back, “There will be more!” She was right. I have half a dozen television and radio interviews scheduled, including a one-hour radio program in New York, and that is after just two months of contracting with Ascot Media.
Ascot Media’s intro plan is a perfect way to venture into a relationship with a publicity company. They make the initial contact with the media, and I follow up with the responses. It is good to know that, at any time, I can increase my level of service to a full publicist plan. It is clear that they are committed to making my book known to the public. The icing on the cake is they make the entire process fun. With their energy and spirit, I am constantly reminded how lucky I am to be here.
